Hey I’m Luke!

Glad to have taken you away from Insta for a couple of moments!

The cliffnotes are that I grew up in rural n. Minnesota, ended up starting the nation’s largest (and probably only) charity Ultimate Frisbee Tournament and wound up at Harvard. When I was in school I had a total blast, and ran both 180 miles to Canada and for Student President, got a patent in machine learning, started couch surfing for college students now used by 400 uni’s in 126 countries along with an award-winning nonprofit that sends free college application advice across the country. I also started a lab that does development research around the world.

While running a research expedition in South East Asia for that lab, I got a call back from Y Combinator, taking me on my present adventure 🌴, resulting in my last semester being put on hold and my mother’s cortisol levels skyrocketing.

Since then, we pulled together an app to get people together offline, raised additional funding in California, moved our office to Cambridge, MA, to be around more college students for testing, and have built everything from lo-fi telepresence apps to Discord for college students. Stay tuned as we explore the throes of social consumer.*
